What you can do...

Evidently, I'm looking for people who like to read and who would like to spend some of their spare-time proofreading ... comparing the "raw" text-output from ocr with the actual page-image and correcting the text.

As stated elsewhere, I prefer to work on "complete" books. If you do want to try out in proofreading, but don't want to concentrate on the same book all the time, then you'd better register at Distributed Proofreaders. 

Texts in several languages are available ... (I'm Belgian ... so, for me knowledge of some is compulsory :)

If you have little or no experience, the proof-reading will be "first-round", will be repeated after you ... so don't be afraid to leave anything around for the next ... just make a good job of it for yourselves.

And, of course, I'm available to answer any and the least question you might have...
