I 'learned the trade' at Distributed Proofreaders about 10 years ago. There you can help proofreading even a page a day. After a while I decided to choose the books I wanted to put online from different sources and complete them on the whole. I also worked for some time in the posting team for PG, doing final checks on texts provided by other volunteers. If you want to help out here with the digitising, you're very welcome. No preliminary experience is needed, all necessary information is made available.

Do visit our Projects page! Some books are waiting...
                                        ... for you to proofread.

A challenge: The Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy - Sir Isaac Newton (Translation: Andrew Motte - 1846). - But also somewhat lighter fiction is made available.

Hope to meet you soon,

Marc.
