We're in search of a copy or usable scans of "The Footsteps of Fate" by Louis Couperus - (orig. "Noodlot") - Translation is by Clara Bell, published 1891 by W. Heinemann, London in a series edited by Edmund Gosse. Oscar Wilde was particularly fond of this one and "instigated" the translation. The book is really hard to come by these days. For the moment I only know of one copy - in the National Library of Australia (Canberra).

... And I also located a copy at the general reference section of the British Library (London), besides two in the Koninklijke Bibliotheek (Den Haag) available for lending.
